2024 Somalia Leopard Gold Gilt 1 oz Silver Coin, the seventh item in the unique African Wildlife – Leopard collection. The leopard belongs to the cat family and ranks 4th among the largest cats in the world. The tiger, lion and jaguar occupy a higher position.
The coin was minted from pure silver Ag.9999, weighing 1 troy ounce and having a diameter of 38.60 mm. The mintage of the unique item is 5,000 pieces. The item is gold-plated with yellow gold. The German mint Bayerisches Hauptmünzamt is responsible for producing the items. Products are also available in gold, gold-plated silver and colored silver. Coins from the African Wildlife Leopard 2024 series will be a perfect complement to previous series from the African Wildlife collection.
The obverse of the silver coin from the African Wildlife Leopard 2024 series shows the coat of arms of Somalia, which shows two leopards supporting a shield with a white star. The obverse also contains information about the issue date and the nominal value of the coin.
The reverse shows an adult leopard with a cub. Additionally, the reverse shows the inscription “AFRICAN WILDLIFE LEOPARD” and information about the weight and purity of the metal.
