This beautiful 1 Oz silver coin is the second issue of the brand new “Mysteries and Music” series called: The Dark Side of the King. Lady Diana lost her life on August 31, 1997 in a car accident in the Alma Bridge tunnel in Paris. Over the years, her tragic end has continued to fuel a thousand doubts, questions, indiscretions and speculations about possible plots and hidden principals. On the night of Aug. 30-31, 1997, minutes after leaving the Ritz, Place Vendome, with the most prominent couple of the moment on board, the car driven by driver Henri Paul – deputy head of security at the luxurious hotel then owned by the Al-Fayed family – sped off at an estimated speed of 118 to 155 kilometers per hour – on a stretch of the Lungosenna where it was then limited to 50 kilometers per hour – to escape the paparazzi chasing the distinguished passengers.

But did it really happen that night? Had the princess and Dodi al-Fayed been wearing seatbelts, would they still be alive? Was the driver drunk? What secret lurks on the Dark Side of the King?
